i met bryan in college – we had a film photography class together, and would shoot together for assignments. fast forward a few years and bryan got ahold of steve and i randomly wanting to know more about jesus after confusion in one of his classes. isn’t it interesting how time can change so much? never in a million years would i have thought we’d be witnessing to bryan and leading him to the lord, and never in a million more would i have thought we’d get to photograph his marriage to lauren.
the first time i met lauren, her welcoming personality was contagious – being around lauren makes you feel like you’ve been friends for ages. it was clear all that bryan saw in her, and how perfectly her excitement balanced out his seriousness. she completes his nervous sentences, he picks her up from work nearly every shift. their back and forth between each other is completely effortless.
the wedding had 40 guests, a bridal party of four, and a small handful who tore up the dance floor. it was intimate, personable, and oozing with love. when we left, steve said to me “every wedding should be just like this” and he was absolutely right. editing these photos was a dream and its an honor to share them —
